January 22 @ 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm : EMSA Approved Preventive Health Practices for Child Care

This is the 8-hour course that is required by Community Care Licensing in order to become a licensed family childcare provider. The course includes:

• Lead Poisoning Prevention
• Recognition, management & prevention of infectious disease
• Sanitary Food Handling
• Child Nutrition
• Identification and reporting of signs and symptoms of child abuse
• Immunizations
• Prevention of childhood injuries
• Emergency preparedness & evacuation
• Caring for children with special needs
• This is a two-part training. You must attend both sessions to receive your certificate.

1 . Monday, January 22, 2024, From 1:30PM – 5:30PM

2 . Wednesday, January 24, 2024, From 1:30PM – 5:30PM

**No make-ups for any portion of this class will be allowed**

NOTE: Please plan to be here minimum 15min. early or on time as there will be NO LATE ADMITTANCE allowed. Doors will be closed and locked by the start of training time.
