Parent Engagement
Parent Cafés are small intimate settings where parents and caregivers have an opportunity to talk about their parenting successes and challenges.
The Café setting allows parents, grandparents, child care providers, teachers, and any individual who cares for a child a chance to come together to listen, talk, build friendships, and support each other.
Parent Cafés implement family strengthening values to improve communication and strengthen relationships.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Facilities Assistant will assist the Facilities Coordinator with the maintenance of the
facility and trouble shoot general office equipment.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate should be proficient in a variety of disciplines including mechanical
knowledge, office equipment uses and troubleshooting, safety knowledge, and the ability
to work on numerous projects simultaneously.
• Ability to multitask and to complete assigned projects timely & efficiently.
• Assist with assembling and moving office furniture.
• Assist with ordering, tracking and inventory of fixed assets, equipment, and
supplies.
• Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with and ability to use computers.
• Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
• Ability to prioritize assigned tasks, manage time, meet deadlines, work well under
pressure, and work well with other agencies and community partners.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, bend, and kneel while performing job
duties.
• Must be proactive, self-motivated, and have the ability to follow directions.

If you have a desire to serve the community by assisting with reimbursements for
services to subsidized families, have caseload management experience, would
enjoy educating child care providers on policies and procedures for participation on
the Child Care Subsidy Program, and have strong accounting skills this may be the
position you have been waiting for.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Provider Services Specialist is responsible for processing provider reimbursements for
services rendered to the Subsidy Program as well as educating participating child care
providers on the program policies and regulations. They are also responsible for
determining initial and continuing eligibility for participation, generating required program
documents, facilitating provider orientations, and maintaining provider files.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate should be proficient with a variety of responsibilities including
experience providing good customer service as well as having at least two years
office experience including working with computers.
• Excellent math skills are mandatory
• Strong accounting experience
• Communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Minimum of two years office experience
• Knowledge of, and ability to use computers for client data, word processing
and calendar of events
• Ability to work as part of a team, which includes flexibility regarding job
duties to meet agency and program needs
