If You Had a Nose Like an Elephants Trunk by Marion Dane Bauer 📚 Read Al...

Read by Erica Will, Northeast Regional Library Collection Development Librarian

In this delightful children’s book, a young girl lets her imagination run wild as she envisions what it would be like to have various animal features. From a snapping turtle’s tongue to a fly’s feet, a lizard’s tail, and chipmunk cheeks, she explores the possibilities. However, the heartwarming twist lies in the reassurance that being herself has its own wonderful advantages. This charming tale encourages self-acceptance and celebrates uniqueness. Perfect for young readers aged 4 to 8, the book is beautifully illustrated by Susan Winter.
