Welcome to the EMSA Approved Preventive Health Practices for Child Care event!
This is the 8-hour course that is required by Community Care Licensing in order to become a licensed family childcare provider. The course includes:
Lead Poisoning Prevention
Recognition, management & prevention of infectious disease
Sanitary Food Handling
Child Nutrition
Identification and reporting of signs and symptoms of child abuse
Immunizations
Prevention of childhood injuries
Emergency preparedness & evacuation
Caring for children with special needs
1 . Tuesday, October 7th, 2025 , From 1:30PM – 5:30PM
2 . AND Thursday, October 9th, 2025, From 1:30PM – 5:30PM
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER HERE COMPLETELY FILLING IN ALL THE REQUIRED QUESTIONS. ANY INCOMPLETE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE UNENROLLED. (THIS WILL REGISTER YOU FOR BOTH DAYS)
**This is a two-part training. You must attend both sessions to receive your certificate. No make-ups for any portion of this class will be allowed**
N OTE: Please plan to be here early or on time as there will be no late admittance. Doors will open 10 minute before training starts. Doors will be locked at 1:35
NO CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THIS TRAINING
THIS TRAINING IS PRESENTED IN ENGLISH & FULL COMPREHENSION OF ENGLISH IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND.
